Manhattan Early 1980s

With 50 Dutch Guilders and a one way ticket, Van der Kamp left for New York in 1980. This was during Reaganomics, so one dollar equaled 4 guilders. So, he was certainly quite poor, and he only had very few rolls of film to spend on his personal photography, but he was still able to make at least a few photographs. It seems that he was mostly interested in public transport and snow.
